Lately we’ve seen a massive influx of HP ProDesk systems that have gotten stuck in an automatic repair boot loop. It seems that Microsoft has released an update to Windows 10 that affects a large number of systems across multiple brands, the vast majority being HP business- and enterprise-class systems.

There is a commonly-shared solution when encountering a similar issue that pops a WDF_VIOLATION BSOD that involves renaming a driver .SYS file, but on a large number of systems that file doesn’t exist. We’ve figured out a solution that actually resolves the issue.

If your organization is experiencing this problem, please feel free to reach out to us. We would be happy to work with you to resolve this problem.
